TAZO TEA

I worked on two ad campaigns one cold tea and one hot tea. With the cold version I noticed that all the tea flavors were not loved by all. People had their favorites. This gave me the idea to take the characteristics of people and related it to the tea they might prefer. I worked from the presumption that Earl Grey would be preferred by older people while someone younger might like hot and spicy tea. I started looking to photo stock and found this old grey haired lady that was posed in different type environments. I thought using her with a little photo editing I could give the campaign life. The hot campaign concept was written by a Copy Writer now creative director. I just took what she gave to me and tried to tell the story visually constructing the image to allow the copy and imagery to tell a story for the product. I searched to find tea backgrounds, cups, tea tags, and photoshopped it all together.
